Welcome.
I have added work from my recent "Cargo" series, inspired by research into my family origins.It led directly to the "Middle Passage", the 16th century bubble of global traffic in human bodies for labor and commerce. People as cargo. How I got here.
Hopefully, I'm transforming the pain of it to some measure of beauty.
Images are visual impressions of that brutal practice, recognition of its inhumanity and reverence for the humanity that survived.
